For a mere two months in 2022, the zeitgeist was captivated by the whirlwind romance between Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and Julia Fox. Though, as quick as their romance started\u2014with a Miami fling over New Year\u2019s Eve\u2014it was over. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now, the <\/span>Uncut Gems <\/span><\/i>breakout star has divulged in her new memoir, <\/span>Down The Drain<\/span><\/i>, her perspective on the short-lived relationship<\/a>. Describing their tryst as a \u201csick, twisted game\u201d, Fox detailed exactly what led to their demise, including the supposed role Kim Kardashian played in their breakup<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the book, Fox alleges that West brought up Kardashian<\/a>\u00a0during their final phone call, writing: \u201cHe tells me he had a good conversation with his soon-to-be-ex-wife and discovered a lot of information about me.\u201d West, who is never referred to by name in the memoir, only as \u2018the artist\u2019, allegedly then weaponised Fox\u2019s history of drug addiction and abuse against her, claiming that he didn\u2019t know about her past with narcotics and that she \u201cduped\u201d him. <\/span><\/p>\n

Fox infers that West discovered her history as a drug addict from Kardashian, though she disputes this. Fox alleges that she responded to West by shouting, \u201cI told you! Maybe if you listened more. And not to mention, so were you!\u201d claiming that West himself suffered from narcotic abuse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fox continued, alleging West \u201cremains silent for once.\u201d \u201cYou said you wouldn\u2019t embarrass me,\u201d she claims he said to her, before adding, \u201cI refuse to let him hear me crying, so I hang up and tell my publicist to inform the press that we are over.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Fox also details several of the pair\u2019s most highly visible moments of their relationship from her perspective. <\/span><\/p>\n

This includes the night West took her into a bathroom at Carbone in New York for an impromptu styling session\u2014which Fox described to <\/span>Interview <\/span><\/i><\/a>at the time as a \u201creal life Cinderella moment\u201d\u2014and her birthday party where West bought her and all her friends Herm\u00e8s Birkin bags. <\/span>On the latter, Fox wrote the images from the evening were forced, claiming she felt like they \u201c<\/span>pose[d] like puppets.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI question his true intentions, feeling that this grand gesture is nothing more than a publicity stunt,\u201d she claims. Though Fox and West\u2019s relationship certainly helped catapult the former dominatrix<\/a> to a higher level of public interest, she also rebukes claims that Kim Kardashian has been copying her eclectic style.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

During a sit down with <\/span>Vanity Fair <\/span><\/i>for their \u201cLie Detector\u201d video series, Fox claims that she\u2019s \u201cinspired\u201d by Kardashian, adding that she \u201cactually really loves her\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI grew up watching <\/span>Keeping Up With the Kardashian<\/span><\/i>s and I actually liked it before they were even cool,\u201d the model and podcaster continued. \u201cAnd when people would bash her I would always go to bat for her. She is a multi-talented queen.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n
