Toto, we\u2019re not in the 818<\/a> any more. If reports are to be believed, supermodel Kendall Jenner may be switching area codes from her exclusive corner of the Hollywood Hills<\/a> to the Manhattan neighbourhood of Chelsea to spend more time with her rapper beau, Bad Bunny.<\/a><\/p>\n

Despite keeping a relatively low profile, news has emerged that the ink has just dried on a rental agreement orchestrated by the Grammy Award-winning musician, whose real name is Benito Antonio Mart\u00ednez Ocasio, for him and Jenner to share a 4,500-square-foot private penthouse on West 27th Street.<\/p>\n

With Bad Bunny the world\u2019s tenth highest-paid entertainer<\/a>, and Jenner ubiquitously the longest consecutive highest-paid supermodel<\/a> in the world, it comes as no surprise their abode is fit out with all the amenities required by members of the upper echelon.<\/p>\n

That includes, but isn\u2019t limited to; four bedrooms featuring 12-foot-high ceilings, views of the Hudson River, graphite marble slab walls lining the four-and-a-half bathrooms, a mosaic-tile, open-air wet room with a rain shower, private library and the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance, a 32-foot outdoor lap pool. This rental is by no means either pair\u2019s first indent on their respective real estate portfolios, local brokers have deduced it could be the most exorbitant with the split-level duplex definitively the most expensive piece of New York real estate.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cSeveral brokers told us that to their knowledge it was the most expensive rental at the time he rented it last week \u2014 and that the rapper was actually paying the listed rent,\u201d reported Curbed<\/em><\/a>. The price? USD$150,000.<\/p>\n

With the apartment currently on the market for an estimated price of USD$18.5 million, it\u2019s not the most amount of money ever splashed to own a coveted stake of Manhattan skyline. In 2019, a hedge fund billionaire traded USD$238 million for an in-development penthouse in the skyscraping behemoth 220 Central Park South. (Also known as the US\u2019 most expensive residential building<\/a>).<\/p>\n

When you put it in that context, it almost makes Bad Bunny and Jenner\u2019s West Village hideaway<\/a> seem like a bargain. But with New York being the location where the pair made their first public<\/a> debut post the 2023 Met Gala<\/a>, it\u2019s clear that every dollar is worth it to own their romantic retreat (albeit for the duration of their rental agreement).<\/p>\n
