In what feels like another lifetime\u2014when she starred as the beloved Rachel Zane on hit television series Suits<\/em><\/a>\u2014Meghan Markle<\/a> sported more blouse-with-a-pencil-skirt combos than the exorbitant amount of search results returned when you Google her name. (The latter currently stands at 438 million, for those counting.) So, now, as the Royal begins a new chapter with her and husband\u2019s non-for-profit organisation it\u2019s super interesting to see her 2023 version of \u201cworkwear\u201d.<\/p>\n

In New York, at their first in-person event for their foundation<\/a>, Markle and Prince Harry held the Archewell Foundation<\/a>\u2019s Parents\u2019 Summit which focused on mental wellness in the digital age. Markle, looking beautiful, wore an egg-shell colored blazer with a folded down neckline by Altuzarra<\/a>. The off-the-shoulder number was teamed with a pair of Altuzarra wide-leg trousers, Altuzarra Purist Pumps in nude, and a pair of Sarah Hendler Pave Spear Tip Dangle Studded Earrings\u2014a new combo Rachel Zane would surely approve of should she, Mike Ross, Harvey Spector, and Jessica Pearson still be conducting their usual walking meetings at the law firm. Come to think of it, this blazer even rivals Markle’s 42nd birthday look<\/a>\u00a0and that<\/em> camel-coloured coordinating set<\/a>! (It actually reminds us of her days as a working Royal!)<\/p>\n

In the crowd were parents who had experienced tragic loss of connected to their child\u2019s social media use.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe met some of the families \u2026 It was impossible to not be in tears, as I\u2019m sure so many of you have been today, hearing these stories,\u201d Markle said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs parents \u2013 our kids are really young, two and a half and four and a half \u2013 but social media is not going away. I think, by design, there\u2019s an entry point that\u2019s supposed to be positive in creating community \u2013 but something has devolved.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey say being a parent, the days are long but the years are short, so it worries me, but I’m also given a lot of hope and energy by the progress we’ve made in the past year being able to have these incredible parents, these survivors of these experiences, share their stories and the more information gathering we’re able to do, the more we can move the needle a little bit,\u201d Markle continued. \u201cEveryone is affected by the online world and social media.<\/a> We all just want to feel safe.
