Coco Chanel is one of the most iconic and influential fashion designers of all time. Her revolutionary designs liberated women from the restrictive corsets and heavy skirts of the late 19th century, and introduced a new era of elegance and comfort. Chanel’s legacy is still felt today, and her designs are worn by women all over the world.<\/p>\n

A new exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, “Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto<\/a>,” explores Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel’s enduring influence on fashion. The exhibition features over 180 looks, as well as jewelry, accessories, cosmetics, and perfumes. It charts Chanel’s career from her early millinery designs to the creation of her iconic tweed suits, little black dress, and Chanel No. 5 perfume.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is divided into 10 themed sections<\/a>, each of which explores a different aspect of Chanel’s work. These include her innovative use of materials, her focus on comfort and functionality, and her creation of a complete lifestyle brand.<\/p>\n

One of the most striking things about Chanel’s designs is their modernity. She was ahead of her time in many ways, and her clothes were designed to liberate women from the constraints of traditional fashion. Chanel’s tweed suits, for example, were comfortable and practical, yet also stylish and elegant.
