Credit: Instagram \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/therow\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\">@therow<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Mary-Kate and Ashley\u2019s affinity with neutrals was interrupted by bursts of color on <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/the-row-pamela-anderson-kaia-gerber-kendall-jenner\/\">The Row\u2019s Spring 2024 runway in Paris<\/a> on September 27. Yes, the twins\u2019 usual signature monochrome palette\u2014read: a muted wheel of taupes, greys and whites\u2014was styled with poppy, peek-a-boo accents; a highlighter-yellow scarf styled under a crisp white trench, a bright red windbreaker, jelly sandals in cerulean blue (the latter is likely to replace the brand\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.net-a-porter.com\/en-au\/shop\/product\/the-row\/shoes\/ballet-flats\/boheme-suede-mary-jane-flats\/1647597318709910\" target=\"_blank\">Boheme ballet flat<\/a> as a bestseller next American summer).<\/p>\n<p>Most strikingly, however, was an asymmetrically gathered cobalt blue one-shouldered top. Teamed with slouchy black trousers and flats\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/fab-five-the-modern-ballet-flat\/\">always flats<\/a>\u2014it was styled with an oversized, geometrically-folded leather bag in lemon. <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/the-row\/\">The Row<\/a> have always made a compelling case for monochromes being the hallmarks of elegance, so it was a delight to see colourful accents become part of their new code. Elsewhere, the usual suspects were still present. Masterfully tailored suiting, tunics, trenches, pants, capes and uncomplicated jersey dresses\u2014all roomy and rooted in versatility\u2014effortlessly glided through the showroom in the 1st arrondissement. Cloche hats were also repeated, the bell shaped design traditionally worn as occassion-wear by women in the 1920s.<\/p>\n<p>In 1999, the Olsen sisters released a comedy called <em>Passport To Paris<\/em>. In its trailer, the two sisters bounce about the streets of Paris\u2014in colorful outfits\u2014while the narrator says, \u201cWhat do two all-American girls do in the city of lights?\u201d \u201cShopping\u201d the twins reply in unison. This season, even if only for a temporary reprieve, it was exciting to see color become part of The Row\u2019s repertoire.
