It\u2019s nearly been one year since supermodel Gisele B\u00fcndchen divorced her husband of 13 years NFL star Tom Brady. There really is something about the 365-day mark, isn’t there? A human-imposed milestone where we reflect on how far we’ve come and what we’ve achieved. And, in a new interview with CBS New Sunday Morning<\/a><\/em>, the 43-year-old supermodel says that if she could go back in time, she\u2019d make the same decision in divorcing Brady.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look into my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wouldn’t have any other life,\u201d she told interviewer Lee Cowan. \u201c[I] wouldn’t change absolutely anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, [getting divorced was] not what I dreamed of and what I hoped for,\u201d she continued. \u201cMy parents have been married for 50 years, and I really wanted that to happen [to me]. But I think you have to accept, you know, sometimes that the way you are in your 20s, it’s sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Brady is] the father of my kids. So I always wish him the best, and I\u2019m so grateful that he gave me wonderful children and I think when a door shuts, other doors open.\u201d<\/p>\n

B\u00fcndchen and Brady announced their divorce<\/a> in October 2022. They share custody of their 13-year-old son, Benjamin, and 10-year-old daughter, Vivian. Brady also has a 16-year-old son that he co-parents with ex partner Bridget Moynahan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rumors of what went wrong in the marriage have suggested Brady wasn\u2019t present in the relationship<\/a>, but that theory does remain widely speculative. One thing that is for certain, however, is B\u00fcndchen\u2019s post-divorce glow<\/a> was in full force. Brady has recently been linked to fellow supermodel Irina Shayk.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m in a different place in my life. I\u2019m able to choose more of what I want,\u201d B\u00fcndchen continues. \u201cI think before I was more surviving, and now I\u2019m living, which is different.\u201d<\/p>\n

The interview is really interesting and B\u00fcndchen is also really open about the hardships she experienced as a young model.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody looked at me from the outside and thought I had it all, right?\u201d she tells Cowan. \u201cAnd I was feeling like I was living this life that was\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKilling you?\u201d Cowan responds.<\/p>\n

\u201cExactly,\u201d B\u00fcndchen replies. \u201cI was drinking Mocha Frappuccino for breakfast with three cigarettes, drinking a bottle of wine at night to calm down from all the coffee I was drinking. Not sleeping, working and travelling. I basically burned down my adrenal glands in my nervous system. I couldn\u2019t take it anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
