Carolina Herrera Beauty has taken us on a journey<\/a> back to the 90s with its latest makeup direction, inspired by the iconic style of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.<\/p>\n

For the Spring\/Summer 2024 collection<\/a>, which debuted at NYFW, Carolina Herrera’s Creative Director, Wes Gordon, drew inspiration from the effortlessly chic and natural makeup of this 90s it-girl. The result is a look that is both natural and polished, perfectly capturing the essence of the era.<\/p>\n

To recreate this timeless makeup look, Herrera Beauty’s Global Makeup Artist, Lauren Parsons, used a selection of products that embody the spirit of minimalism. The focus was on achieving a fresh, undone yet *impeccable* appearance.<\/p>\n

Carolina Herrera Beauty’s Chic Mono Eyeshadows Matte in Caramel<\/a> and Chocolate<\/a> played a central role in creating a natural wash of color on the eyelids. These eyeshadows boast a buildable cream-to-powder texture, finished with the brand’s\u00a0Fabulous Eyes Smudgeproof\u00a0<\/span>mascara<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to add volume and definition, while maintaining a natural look.<\/p>\n

One of the standout features<\/a> of Bessette-Kennedy’s signature look was her choice of lipstick shades. Herrera Beauty recreated these shades using the Fabulous Kiss Lipsticks, including Dark Leather<\/a>, Nude Supreme, Birthday Red, and Orange Bliss. These lipsticks offer intense pigmentation enriched with conditioning ingredients and hyaluronic acid filling spheres, leaving your lips with a velvety soft finish.<\/p>\n

For the cheeks, the Good Girl Blusher in Plum Tulip<\/a> was used to create a natural flush. This innovative, silky, and buildable formula can be used on both the cheeks and lips, and ensures adherence without a greasy feel \u2014 making it perfect for all-day wear.<\/p>\n

To complete the look, a touch of the universal cream-to-powder Fabulous Skin Highlighter<\/a> was applied to the high points of the face, providing a subtle, “lit-from-within glow,” according to the brand.<\/p>\n
