A breakup is never easy, even if you\u2019re the one instigating it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sometimes it happens smoothly because both parties are \u201cready\u201d for the end of the relationship. Other times, breakups end in pain and suffering. This especially happens if cruel and insidious methods are used, which\u00a0prevent a smooth, respectful ending.<\/p>\n

Among these techniques is a very common one called\u00a0slow dumping<\/strong>. Sadly trending, slow dumping has been destroying more and more couples. This method, spotlighted by Cosmopolitan<\/i><\/a>, consists of ending a relationship without saying it directly to the other person, which is particularly cruel and insidious.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Is slow dumping the worst way to breakup?<\/h2>\n

One of the parties involved becomes colder and colder<\/a>, slowly moving away. Distance comes into play, and the person lets it dig itself up. They even flee intimate moments and stop being affectionate towards their significant other without ever discussing the subject<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSlow dumping is a gradual and indirect way for a partner to take their distance emotionally and physically instead of putting explicit words on their desire to end it,\u201d<\/i>\u00a0explains Nia Williams, relationship expert for Metro<\/i>, a British media.<\/p>\n

Clearly, slow dumping aims to let the relationship die by itself<\/strong> in order to not have to end it. Some people think this is the right way to end a relationship because it doesn\u2019t hurt the other person, but they don\u2019t realize that it is just\u00a0as hurtful and painful<\/strong> as a \u201cclassic\u201d breakup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When you are in a relationship, whether it is going really well or starting to make a turn for the worse, honesty and communication are always key.
