Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry<\/a> has gone on the record claiming she said no to Drake when the Grammy winner asked to use a photo of her as the cover art for his new single \u201cSlime You Out\u201d.<\/p>\n

Despite saying no, Drake went ahead and used the photo.<\/p>\n

On September 15, Berry posted a quote to her Instagram page<\/a> which read, \u201cSometimes you have to be the bigger guy\u2026even if you are a woman.\u201d<\/p>\n

One Instagram user asked the 57-year-old\u2019s thoughts on the musician, 36, using her image.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe didn\u2019t get my permission,\u201d Berry responded. \u201cThat\u2019s not cool, I thought better of him\u2026 When people you admire disappoint you, you have to be the bigger person and move on.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s about principles and integrity,\u201d she continued. \u201cSo happy many of you get that,\u201d<\/p>\n

Another user questioned Berry on why she was so upset, citing it was indeed Getty Images who owned the photo. The actress doubled down.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I\u2019m upset] cuz he asked me and I said NO, that\u2019s why,\u201d she responded. \u201cWhy ask if you intend to do what you want to do! That was the f*ck you to me. Not cool. You get it?\u201d<\/p>\n

Drake\u2019s new single \u201cSlime You Out\u201d is his first collaboration with SZA, and the latest and second release from his upcoming LP For All The Dogs.<\/i> Its lyrics reference lovers making \u201ckid choices\u201d and the image in question is of Berry covered in green slime at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids\u2019 Choice Awards. Drake commissioned his son, five-year-old Adonis, to sketch the album artwork.<\/p>\n

For All The Dogs<\/em> is set to be released on September 22. To be honest, we\u2019re backing Halle Berry on his one. Not cool.
