Red lip, classic\u2014Taylor Swift has officially exited her navy \u201cMidnights\u201d era and entered her pastel blue \u201c1989 (Taylor\u2019s Version)\u201d<\/a> era, using the wedding of her long-term producer Jack Antonoff and actress Margaret Qualley<\/a> as the springboard to launch her new style reign.<\/p>\n

As staunch fans of Swift are aware, the 33-year-old\u2019s clothing and makeup choices reflect the creative period she\u2019s in, and given the impending release of the re-recorded 2014 award-winning album it\u2019s safe to say she\u2019s leaning into the blue hue. Even if the particular event is a \u201cwhite veil occasion,\u201d as Swift sings in \u201cSpeak Now\u201d.<\/p>\n

For the star-studded nuptials, Swift shed her preppy aesthetic<\/a> for something more romantic\u2014a reference to the 1989 song \u201cNew Romantics\u201d or just an apt silhouette for the tender service? Given Swift\u2019s cryptic nature, we wouldn\u2019t put it past her to use this highly publicized moment to scatter some Easter eggs.<\/a><\/p>\n

Stepping out at Parker\u2019s Garage & Oyster Saloon in New Jersey, the location of Antonoff & Qualley\u2019s wedding ceremony, Swift wore an asymmetrical hem lace dress from British fashion designer Erdem<\/a>. (See the pictures for yourself, here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The dress, which debuted on Erdem\u2019s Spring ’23 runway during London Fashion Week, features a boned corset-style bodice, a tonal satin sash separating the skirt from the midsection and a cascading ruffle hem, all made from delicate recycled lace. On Swift\u2019s feet were a pair of crystal embellished Gucci sandals, with a Cartier Agrafe herringbone rope necklace in yellow gold accenting her neckline.<\/p>\n

Of course, with Swift the unequivocal master of hidden references, it\u2019s clear she took inspiration from her discography when it came to the ensemble. \u201cBejeweled\u201d, \u201cStyle\u201d, \u201cEnchanted\u201d and \u201cLove Story\u201d were most likely the phrases (or singles) on the mood board she provided her stylist with when it came to the theme of her wedding guest dress.<\/a><\/p>\n

Earlier in the wedding weekend, Swift\u2019s fans shut down the newlywed\u2019s rehearsal dinner at the 3.5 stars rated (as pointed out by Variety) Black Whale restaurant in Beach Haven. Swifties flocked to the street to catch a glimpse of the signer, inadvertently shutting down a major intersection by doing so and causing havoc<\/a> on the streets.<\/p>\n

Also in attendance at the wedding was Qualley\u2019s mother, \u2018Brat Pack\u2019 actress Andie Macdowell, Qualley\u2019s model and musician sister, Rainey Qualley, along with Lana Del Rey, Cara Delevingne, Zo\u00eb Kravitz and Channing Tatum.<\/p>\n

Swift is currently on hiatus from her Eras Tour after concluding the U.S leg<\/a> in early August, meaning more \u201c1989 (Taylor\u2019s Version)\u201d sartorial references are incoming.<\/p>\n
