Kate Middleton<\/a> took a break from wearing glittering gowns<\/a> and dazzling tiaras<\/a> and tapped into her sportier side this week. On Wednesday, the royal participated in rugby drills during her visit to Maidenhead Rugby Club and chose a super pared-down look.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ordinarily, the Princess of Wales<\/a> \u201cdresses down\u201d in immaculately tailored Alexander McQueen pantsuits<\/a> when the occasion calls for a business casual ensemble \u2014 but this time, Middleton<\/a> owned her role as the Patron of the English Rugby Football Union<\/a> wearing an aqua blue England rugby jersey with the organization\u2019s red rose motif printed over her heart. Middleton<\/a> teamed her top with navy blue tapered joggers and plain white sneakers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The royal<\/a> pulled her brunette tresses back in to a high ponytail while running drills and maintained a natural beauty look with blushed cheeks, a smokey eye with long lashes and a pink lip for a day out on the field. <\/span><\/p>\n

Keeping her accessories to a minimum, Middleton<\/a> adorned tiny, dainty baubles for the active occasion, wearing just a pair of small gold hoop earrings and her historic sapphire engagement ring.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the morning training with local and professional Rugby players<\/span>, Middleton<\/a> sat down with the teammates to chat about their childhoods to emphasize the importance of the early childhood development, as a part of her new initiative, Shaping Us<\/a>. According to People<\/em><\/a>, the royal has previously focused on the insight of mothers since the campaign\u2019s inception in January, but now she wants to hear from men.<\/p>\n
