Her latest shout? Miu Miu ballet flats<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We know, they’ve been around for a hot minute. You’ve likely seen versions with gingham or black ribbon ankle ties around your social feeds or even on your favorite celebs. From Amelia Hamlin and Rosal\u00eda<\/a> to Alexa Chung and Elle Fanning<\/a>, the preppy silhouette has been everywhere. Fashion search engine Lyst even named the satin iterations from Miu Miu’s Fall 2022 collection among the hottest products in the world in 2022.<\/p>\n

But proving that balletcore<\/a> is so much for than a fleeting trend, Holmes<\/a> put her (very chic) stamp of approval on them as she attended the Theater World Awards in New York on June 5.<\/p>\n

Wearing a lightweight floor-length dress and a blazer, the actress opted for a black patent pair with two buckled straps and a bow. Though the blazer-and-dress combination is always a versatile classic, the flats proved to be a flattering choice, injecting a trendy element that boosts the entire look.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t her first time sporting the brand\u2019s signature flats. Back in May, she was photographed on the streets of New York City’s NoHo neighborhood wearing the shoes for the first time with a pink marle sweater, a white maxi skirt and a roomy beige leather tote. With her second run with the prolific footwear, Holmes explores their enduring appeal, subtly declaring these rediscovered gems of the 2000s <\/a>as a modern mainstay.<\/p>\n
