As a market editor, sneakers are always a hot topic of conversation. We’re constantly trying to pinpoint the It pair of the season while simultaneously covering the latest hyped-up collaboration before it sells out. If there’s one thing we (as in market editors) can all relate to is the perpetual hunt to find the\u00a0perfect<\/em> white sneaker<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Over the past year Adidas Sambas<\/a> and Gazelles have reigned supreme. After major collaborations with Gucci<\/a>, Pharrell<\/a>, Sporty and Rich and Wales Bonner, it’s no wonder these shoes<\/a> are flying off the shelves.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Wales Bonner, there’s a particular pair from their Adidas collab<\/a> that are living rent free in my head. The Adidas x Wales Bonner Samba<\/a> in silver is from the Spring\/Summer collection in what will be the season’s hottest sneaker trend: chrome.<\/p>\n

It’s time to set aside the crisp white tennis shoes and opt for something a bit cooler, like silver sneakers. This season it’s less about a brand or style in particular and more about the metallic moment. Another pair that I’m coveting are the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 in silver. It has a similar look to the Wales Bonner Samba but it’s much easier to buy and it won’t break the bank. It girls have been rocking their silver shoes with fun socks, jeans, prairie skirts, mini dresses the list goes on.
