In the wild, goopy world of wellness and beauty, we\u2019ve pretty much heard it all. But for Kim Kardashian<\/a>, these eccentric treatments and elixirs aren\u2019t merely a farfetched pursuit for the fountain of youth, they\u2019re procedures she\u2019s actively partaking in.<\/p>\n

In a preview for the upcoming season of the Kardashian-Jenners\u2019 Hulu reality show The Kardashians<\/em><\/a>, the 42-year-old made a bizarre beauty admission<\/a>, revealing to a voice coach (more on that later) that \u201chalf\u201d of her neck is “probably Botoxed.”<\/p>\n

The process of injecting Botox into your upper neck and shoulders, which has been coined \u201cTrapTox\u201d because of the location of the injection into your trapezius muscle, went viral on TikTok earlier this year with the treatment viewed over 458,000 times on the platform.<\/p>\n

The mother-of-four\u2019s<\/a> confession came courtesy of a Snapchat from Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/a> \u2014 we know how much that family loves that platform \u2014 with the SKIMS founder revealing to a singing coach that she couldn\u2019t perform due to the effects of TrapTox.<\/p>\n

Kardashian didn\u2019t disclose why she was taking singing lessons, or why she had gotten Botox in her neck in the first place, but it\u2019s not the first time we\u2019ve heard the soon-to-be lawyer discuss her experimental beauty treatments.<\/a><\/p>\n

Given that the cosmetic procedure is predominantly for aesthetic reasons, with your shoulders and neck appearing slimmer and more contoured post-injection, we\u2019re assuming that Kardashian had no concern for the potential the treatment had on hindering her singing abilities. It\u2019s not like she had booked a Vegas appearance to revive her pop star career with a new rendition of “Jam (Turn It Up).”<\/p>\n

After all, this is the woman who once admitted she\u2019d have a bite of human fecal matter<\/a> every day if it was proven to make you look younger. \u201cI really, genuinely care about looking good. I probably care more than 90 percent of the people on this planet,\u201d Kardashian revealed in August 2022.<\/p>\n

The news of Kardashian\u2019s treatment came after the release of The Kardashian\u2019s<\/em> season 3 trailer<\/a>, which included a snippet of Kylie Jenner confronting her sisters about the beauty standards they are setting. We\u2019re unsure whether the topic of TrapTox was broached, but either way this is one conversation we\u2019re keeping our eyes peeled for.<\/p>\n
