This just in: Beloved Australian actor Margot Robbie<\/a> and Irish heartthrob Paul Mescal are reportedly teaming up for a reboot of this much-awaited franchise reboot. We\u2019re manifesting that this rumor turns into a reality.<\/p>\n

A world where Connell Waldron<\/a> and Barbie co-exist could soon be a possibility, and it\u2019s all thanks to one man: Marvel Studio\u2019s CEO, Kevin Feige. For members of the style set, this isn\u2019t a name we expect you to recognize right away, but he could be the name on everyone\u2019s lips if this alleged cast proves to be correct.<\/p>\n

According to new reports, Marvel has tapped the Academy Award nominees for the upcoming Fantastic Four<\/em> reboot, with Robbie and Mescal playing the superhero brother-sister duo Susan and Johnny Storm.<\/p>\n

As comic book fanatics would know, this third cartoon-to-screen adaptation of the beloved franchise would be the first that\u2019s canon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, meaning not only would Robbie and Mescal exist in the same multiverse as Harry Styles<\/a> but would make Robbie one of few actors who have appeared in both Marvel and DC franchises.<\/p>\n

Margot is set to switch from fantastic plastic Barbie<\/a> to Fantastic Four member Susan Storm, a scientist with the power of invisibility. This role was originally played by Jessica Alba in the 2005 iteration.<\/p>\n

Mescal will reportedly play the smooth-talking bachelor a.k.a The Human Torch, who possesses the power of flight and a signature ability to make his body combust.<\/p>\n

Also rounding out the remaining two in this foursome is potentially Adam Driver<\/a>, who is reportedly playing Robbie\u2019s love interest Reed Richards, and Daveed Diggs (who you may know from Hamilton<\/em> and more recently The Little Mermaid<\/em><\/a>) as The Thing.<\/p>\n
