Just in time for summer, iconic feel-good footwear brand Scholl<\/a> has teamed up with ISSIMO<\/a>, the digital extension of the Pellicano Hotels, on a line of sandals that are as comfortable as they are fashionable. Designed by Marie-Louise Sci\u00f2, CEO and Creative Director of the Pellicano Hotels Group, the exclusive summer capsule collection is a reimagined version of the classic Pescura sandals.<\/p>\n

\u201cScholl clogs embody Italian summers and are a staple that has been around for as long as I can remember,” Sci\u00f2 said in the press release. “I have always been fascinated by their transversality: you see them on the beach, in the city, on young ladies shopping, nonnas<\/em> hanging out, cinema stars lounging around! They have truly gained cult status and I wanted to honor this agelessness and create a collection that is both elegant and fun and can easily go from day to night, casual to chic.”<\/p>\n

For Scholl \u2014 a comfort shoe leader which gained popularity in the 1960s and ’70s \u2014 the partnership with Pellicano Hotels was a natural fit. Together they created four versions of the Pescura heel that exudes Mediterranean elegance in different patterns and fabrics like velvet and linen. Sci\u00f2 says the use of<\/span> luxurious material plus the Pescura’s comfort and style is “an unbeatable combination that is also podiatrist approved!”<\/span><\/p>\n
