Lily Collins is at it again. After blessing us with the most stunning blue eyeshadow and red lipstick combo<\/a> earlier this week, she traded the statement-making eye look for a chic and sophisticated updo brought to life by celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The LA-based hair pro calls the hairstyle the “Twisted Mohawk Top Knot,” which she created using Authentic Beauty Concept<\/a> products. According to the stylist’s Instagram Story, she quite literally twisted the star’s hair up, locked it down with pins, and then\u00a0gave it a hearty spray of the brand’s Working Hairspray<\/a>: a fine mist that dries fast and locks hair into place without feeling heavy on the hair.<\/p>\n

If you want to give the hairstyle a try at home, Roszak says, “the messier, the better.” Who knew something so imperfect could still look so photogenic? The odds are that our attempt\u00a0<\/span>might\u00a0<\/span><\/em>not come out as effortlessly beautiful as the Hollywood hair professional’s<\/a> creation did, but hey, it’s worth a shot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>Emily in Paris<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>star’s glam was for her appearance on\u00a0<\/span>The Kelly Clarkson\u00a0<\/span><\/em>show on Wednesday, December 2. In addition to the cool hair look, she stunned in a polished makeup look by makeup artist Fiona Stiles<\/a> using Lanc\u00f4me cosmetics. Her lips and lids had a touch of plum pigment, along with voluminous, defined lashes and perfectly groomed brows. Collins has been an ambassador for the French luxury brand since October 2013.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As for her fashion, the 31-year-old rocked a look from luxury American fashion brand St. John Knits’<\/a> Fall 2020 collection. Styled by Rob Zangardi<\/a>, Collins embraced sweater weather despite L.A’s 75-degree heat, donning a chunky knit-pattered turtleneck and a tweed skirt, accessorized with an elegant carved metal buckle. For accessories, she wore sleek over-the-knee Yves Saint Laurent black leather boots and Cartier Love Earrings.<\/p>\n
