For his first public event since his breakup with Taylor Swift<\/a>, Joe Alwyn<\/a> showed up to the French Riviera\u2014in style.<\/p>\n

The English actor<\/a> attended the Celine dinner at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France, hosted by the brand\u2019s artistic director Hedi Slimane<\/a> during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Favorite<\/em> star sported a black, subtly pinstriped suit over a silky salmon button-down shirt, left open to reveal his white tank top. Alwyn accessorized his look with a thin gold chain necklace, chic black shades and classic black dress shoes.<\/p>\n

Faces and friends of the house, including Kaia Gerber<\/a>, BLACKPINK<\/a>\u2019s Lisa<\/a>, rapper Future and more were in attendance. Wunderhorse front man Jacob Slater performed live for the A-list guests following the dinner.<\/p>\n

In April,\u00a0Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a>\u00a0reported Swift and Alwyn called it quits in March, in what was allegedly an amicable split<\/a>. According to a source, the relationship \u201chad just run its course,\u201d and was \u201cnot dramatic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift, 33, and Alwyn, 32, began dating in 2016, and though they\u2019ve managed to keep much of their relationship private, it\u2019s been thought that the two were still going strong until fans began to worry\u00a0Alwyn hadn\u2019t been there to support Swift on her world tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Looking for clues, fans believed Swift dropped a hint about the breakup at her March 31 concert. Swift performed in Arlington, Texas and replaced the romantic song \u201cInvisible String\u201d with the breakup song, \u201cThe 1.\u201d It includes the lyrics, \u201cBut we were something don\u2019t you think so?\u201d and \u201cIf my wishes came true, it would have been you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just about a month after the news broke that Swift and Alwyn had split<\/a> after six years of dating, the\u00a0Grammy Award<\/a>-winner seems to be moving on. According to\u00a0The Sun<\/em><\/a>, the\u00a0Midnights<\/em> artist is \u201cmadly in love\u201d with the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the English pop rock band, The 1975, Matty Healy<\/a>. The pair have maintained a close friendship since 2014, and while they briefly dated back in the day, the musicians have continued to collaborate.<\/p>\n

Alwyn, who Swift\u2019s friends unfollowed on Instagram<\/a>\u00a0hinting that the British actor may have done Swift dirty, is reportedly upset by these developments<\/a> with a source telling\u00a0Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>\u201cJoe feels slighted and is distraught after seeing her budding relationship with Matt, but is doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJoe was aware that Taylor and Matt were making music together and collaborating,\u201d they continued. \u201cShe told him that they had become friends and he trusted her.\u201d However, the insider denied there was any romantic \u201coverlap\u201d between Healy and Alwyn in Swift\u2019s life.<\/p>\n

Sources aside, while performing in Massachusetts on Saturday night, Swift told fans: \u201cI\u2019ve just never been this happy in my life, in all aspects of my, life ever. And I just want to thank you for being a part of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not just the tour,\u201d she added. \u201cI just sort of feel like my life finally feels like it makes
