Blake Lively<\/a> was spotted filming her latest project in New York City on Monday, sporting a fresh new fiery \u2018do<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Gossip Girl<\/em> alum<\/a> signed on to the film adaptation of the hit book,\u00a0It Ends with Us<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>by Colleen Hoover. It marks her first film since welcoming her fourth child<\/a> with husband Ryan Reynolds<\/a> in February. Lively was spotted this week on set with her costar, Jane the Virgin<\/em> actor Justin Baldoni, who is also directing<\/a>\u00a0the movie.<\/p>\n

In images obtained by the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>, Lively<\/a> wore an olive green halter neck sundress with a baby pink Carhartt T-shirt and a hot pink jacket worn on top. She carried beige canvas tote bag with the black Valentino Garavani monogram print, and wore patterned navy blue and purple socks and brown leather chunky loafers.<\/p>\n

But what really stole the show was the actress\u2019s new auburn locks<\/a>, styled in voluminous beach waves.<\/p>\n

Immediately following the film\u2019s announcement back in January, Lively<\/a> teased a photo of herself on her\u00a0Instagram Stories<\/a>, debuting a new hair color. She switched up her signature blonde locks to a deep mahogany shade. She’s been spotted since on the red carpet with her natural blonde hue, but maybe she’ll retain her red tresses post-production.<\/p>\n

The film is based on Hoover\u2019s 2016 bestselling novel of the same name<\/a> and follows a young woman Lily, beginning a new chapter after college when she meets a guy Ryle, who she quickly falls for. Then, her first love, Atlas, comes back into her life.<\/p>\n

It Ends with Us\u00a0<\/em>gained significant traction on TikTok last year and skyrocketed Hoover to be the current best-selling novelist in the U.S., with over 20 million books sold.\u00a0It Ends With Us\u00a0<\/em>was the best-selling print book of 2022.<\/p>\n

A release date for\u00a0It Ends with Us<\/em>\u00a0hasn\u2019t been revealed.
