I think about Jennifer Lopez’s good looks approximately five times a week. The 51-year-old beauty icon is\u00a0<\/span>positively ageless<\/span><\/a>, and she’s well-known throughout the world for her flawless, radiant skin that’s earned its own (catchy) nickname: the JLo glow. This phrase applies not only to how her skin literally glows but also to the star’s confidence and natural beauty.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lopez released her first fragrance, glow, in 2002. Now, nearly two decades later, she’s coming out with her first skincare collection called JLo Beauty. It’s the result of “years of passion and hundreds of trials later,” with the mission of delivering the essentials that fans need to look and feel their best\u2014no matter their age.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>Hustlers\u00a0<\/span><\/em>star teased the line for the first time in August, with a selfie<\/a> looking glamorous and glowy. Naturally, fans went wild with the need to know more, but she withheld that information until now. On Wednesday, December 3, Lopez teased the full line, comprised of eight skincare must-haves.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, after all of these years, Lopez is divulging her biggest secrets to keeping her skin looking so youthful. One of them was taught to Lopez by her mother, Guadalupe Rodr\u00edguez. “My mom used to say that olive oil was the cure-all for everything,” Lopez reveals in a brand statement. “And it’s a secret I’ve used over the years because it really does work. So, when we went to do this, that was the first thing I said: It has to have olive oil extract as a basis.”<\/p>\n

That’s precisely the mindset that inspired the JLo Beauty Olive Complex: a four-part blend comprised of squalane, fermented olive oil, extra-virgin olive oil, and olive leaf extract. This formula is present in the majority of the JLo Beauty skincare products.<\/p>\n

Besides using her skincare products, the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” hitmaker swears by \u201cthe five s\u2019s”: sleep, sunscreen, serum, supplements, and sano (the latter comes from the Spanish phrase “vivir san,” which means “living healthy”).<\/p>\n

That said, her glow is also the result of her \u00fcber healthy lifestyle. She doesn’t drink or smoke, and eats healthy<\/a>, exercises, and drinks lots of water. And as mentioned in her “five s’s,” sleep is major, too. “Ideally, I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep, Lopez told InStyle <\/em>in 2016.\u00a0“But either way, I always make sure I get at least eight.\u201d<\/p>\n
