I live for a denim-on-denim look<\/a>. I’ve said before that my go-to outfit is a Canadian tuxedo<\/a>. This season, I’ve decided to take my love of all-things jean<\/a> a step further. I am currently obsessed with denim<\/a> shoes and I’m going to let you know why you should be too.<\/p>\n

First of all, the fabric gives an instant cool factor. For example, take a pair of simple ballet flats<\/a>. They’re classic and safe. Now, throw on a pair of denim\u00a0<\/em>ballet flats \u2014 it’s giving elevated, fashion-forward, risk-taking, all while wearing a standard shoe style. This also works the other way around, a sexy pair of knee-high stiletto boots<\/a> are pretty dressy \u2014 for the daytime, try a denim pair. The fabric gives the otherwise sultry silhouette a more laidback feel.<\/p>\n
