Dua Lipa<\/a> is a Versace<\/a> girl through and through. The pop superstar has become a front row fixture at the brand\u2019s fashion shows, modeled for its campaigns and even modeled on the runway and opened and closed the Spring\/Summer 2022 runway presentation. Now, Lipa<\/a> is expanding her relationship with the brand by co-designing a womenswear collection with Donatella Versace<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Entitled \u201cLa Vacanza,\u201d the collaborative see now, buy now assortment will be unveiled at an \u201cintimate\u201d runway show in Cannes on May 23.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have always been inspired by a collaborative design process,\u201d said Donatella<\/a>. \u201cWorking with Dua<\/a> on this collection has been very exciting and I love the dynamic between us. Dua<\/a> is strong, fearless, and free and her creative vision is exceptional.\u201d<\/p>\n

Evoking the \u201cmagical\u201d essence of the summer season, Donatella revealed that the collection will \u201ccapture this feeling and the colors of that time of the year with a truly special and intimate fashion show in Cannes.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the presentation is not a part of the official Cannes Film Festival<\/a> calendar of events, the show will take place during the festival in the French resort town \u2014 though the exact location has yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am absolutely thrilled to have co-designed the women\u2019s \u2018La Vacanza\u2019 collection for Versace with Donatella,\u201d said Lipa<\/a>. \u201cShe and I have formed such a strong bond over the years, and I\u2019m so grateful for the support I\u2019ve received from her and the whole team since the very beginning of my career.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter<\/a> has worn the Italian fashion house\u2019s designs for important milestones, from her very first Met Gala to the Grammy Awards and more.<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cFor her to give me the honor of co-designing this collection and letting all my summer inspirations go wild has been a dream. I am so very proud of this collection and cannot wait to debut it in Cannes.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair announced the exciting news on Instagram with a portrait together. Donatella sported aviator sunglasses, a black turtleneck and leather pants, while the Future Nostalgia<\/i> artist<\/a> wore a high neck black backless gown with a visible Medusa embellished G-string.<\/p>\n

“The news is out! We are excited to announce the Versace ‘La Vacanza’ women\u2019s collection, which we have co-designed,” they wrote. “We cannot wait to show you what we have created!”<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Lipa was spotted outside of the Mark Hotel in New York City, wearing a black textured leather oversized bomber jacket and a crocodile-effect Versace mini dress from the Fall\/Winter 2023 collection<\/a>, previously worn by Anne Hathaway<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hathaway was recently dubbed the face of the brand\u2019s campaign<\/a>,\u00a0Versace Icons<\/a>. The collection is a curated assortment of style staples, inspired by\u00a0Versace\u2019s signature tailoring and the house\u2019s decades of experience dressing powerful women.<\/p>\n

Lipa and Versace’s collaboration will be available in stores and online<\/a> immediately following the presentation on May 23.<\/p>\n
