Never ones to go with the crowd, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky<\/a> took their sweet time getting ready for the 2023 Met Gala red carpet.<\/a><\/p>\n

While everyone was in a tizzy, wondering where the pregnant singer may be, plenty speculated that Rihanna<\/a>, Queen of the Met, might not show up to the annual extravaganza. But we should know better than to doubt the Fenty Beauty mogul.<\/p>\n

Not only did the couple finally arrive at the Met, but their looks did not disappoint.<\/p>\n

Photographed leaving the Carlyle Hotel in New York City, Rihanna was spotted wearing a roomy fur coat and white strappy stilettos that featured Chanel’s signature flower, the camellia.<\/p>\n

Though not much can be seen below the coat, a layered choker of diamonds and pearls suggests she’s nailed the brief. A$AP, on the other hand, blew it out of the water. In a spitting-image tribute to Karl Lagerfeld<\/a>, the rapper looked extremely dapper in a white shirt with a leather tie, a black blazer with a diamond brooch on the lapel, a red tartan kilt with four belts and studded jeans.<\/p>\n

The look was a direct emulation of a 2004 look from the late designer.<\/p>\n

Arriving on the red carpet, Rihanna finally unveiled her masterpiece look<\/a> \u2014 and the shoes should have been a giveaway. Wearing a gown that cocooned her upper half in white camellia-like rosettes, the singer brought the “wow” factor in Valentino.<\/p>\n

She then removed the top half of her look to reveal the low-cut, spaghetti-strap gown that cradled her growing baby bump.<\/p>\n
