Doja Cat<\/a> knows how to turn heads with her avant-garde sense of style and creative glam<\/a>, and for her very first Met Gala<\/a>, the \u201cSay So\u201d singer embodied a fierce feline. This year’s exhibition and dress code is all about Karl Lagerfeld,<\/a> but Doja Cat decided to draw influences from Lagerfeld\u2019s beloved cat, Choupette<\/a>, instead.<\/p>\n

While a life-size version of the famed Birman cat walked the red carpet (courtesy of Jared Leto), Doja Cat\u2019s fierce Oscar de la Renta gown brought ultra-glam vibes. The \u201cWoman\u201d rapper wore a custom silver and white ombr\u00e9 sea and bugle beaded gown, featuring cat ears on the hood, a backless mermaid silhouette and a white feathered train, designed by co-creative directors Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim.<\/p>\n

Adding to the bling, Doja Cat wore a pear-shaped diamond headpiece positioned in the middle of her forehead, an elegant diamond chain arm cuff, a diamond bracelet and a dazzling assortment of rings from Messika.<\/p>\n

In keeping with her string of adventurous, experimental makeup moments<\/a>, Doja Cat fully committed to her transformation, adding cat-like prosthetics by Malina Stearns<\/a> with a kitten nose and a feline flick of black eyeliner. Knowing Doja, we\u2019re just shocked she didn\u2019t add whiskers.<\/p>\n

In September, the Grammy-winner attended Daniel Roseberry\u2019s Spring\/Summer 2023 Haute Couture collection for Schiaparelli, drenched in 30,000 fire-engine red Swarovski crystals<\/a>, applied by hand by makeup artist Pat McGrath and her team.\u00a0The musician sat through precisely four hours and 58 minutes of makeup application for the over-the-top glam look. \u201cIt was an honor to collaborate with the incredibly gifted\u00a0@DojaCat<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0@DanielRoseberry<\/a>,\u201d\u00a0McGrath wrote on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Doja Cat\u2019s glittering crimson complexion expertly matched her red silk faille bustier and hand-knitted knee-length skirt encrusted with lacquered wooden beads. The rapper was draped in a monochromatic cascading shawl and teamed her look with red stockings, trompe l\u2019\u0153il toe boots and amped up the glamor with dangling red stone earrings, styled by
