There are a few celebrities that shut down the Met Gala<\/a> carpet whenever they attend. Blake Lively.<\/a> Kim Kardashian<\/a>. Rihanna<\/a>. And of course, supermodel extraordinaire, Gisele B\u00fcndchen<\/a>. The legend arrived to the 2023 Met Gala<\/a> in a feathery white vintage Chanel look and stopped traffic with her poses.<\/p>\n

B\u00fcndchen wore a curve-hugging column gown featuring white vertical stripes and a sheer neckline, which she teamed with a feathery cape with long train, statement earrings and her signature beachy side-swept waves. “I wore this dress I think 2006 or 2007 in an editorial with [Karl Lagerfeld],” the model said on the red carpet.<\/p>\n

She perfectly paid homage to the star of the night, the late great designer Karl Lagerfeld<\/a>. The exhibit titled, \u201cKarl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” honors the life and work of Lagerfeld and the official dress code<\/a> for guests at the 2023 Met Gala is \u201cin honor of Karl.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked what her favorite memory with Lagerfeld was, B\u00fcndchen said it was hard to chose just one. “I love the memories with him. He was a gentleman and always so kind,” she said. “He was a lovely man.”<\/p>\n

She did recall a fun moment shooting \u00a0a Chanel N\u00b05 fragrance campaign with the designer in the streets of Paris \u2014 while barefoot. “That was pretty funny,” B\u00fcndchen said.<\/p>\n

The supermodel typically walks the carpet with Tom Brady<\/a>. Late last year, the two announced they were going their separate ways<\/a> after 13 years of marriage. There’s been a lot of talk about how they’re both doing (and potentially dating<\/a>), but for B\u00fcndchen, she’s taken the moment to get\u00a0back into modeling<\/a>. She’s been seen on set, landing new magazine covers and fronting huge campaigns, including the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collaboration<\/a> and a new Vivara campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She’s been spending at her Costa Rica compound (she also splits her time between Miami, where Brady is based). \u201cI don\u2019t want to be limited,\u201d B\u00fcndchen told Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a> recently. \u201cI want to spread my wings and fly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gisele B\u00fcndchen is making her dreams come true and spreading her wings (literally) in her feathery look at tonight’s red
