Leave it to a Kardashian to make a business suit sexy. Yesterday, while appearing at the Time 100 Summit, Kim Kardashian<\/a> decided to take the opportunity to reinvent the idea of traditional sophisticated suiting, wearing a\u00a0<\/span>transparent blazer and pant set to the event, where she not only walked the red carpet but took to the stage for a talk.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The reality star turned entrepreneur \u2014 Kardashian has launched both SKIMS, a clothing line, and Skkn by Kim, a beauty line \u2014 turned lawyer (and soon-to-be actor<\/a>) paired her see-through look with a bandeau top in the same colorway and matching pumps. She wore her hair styled up in a bun, posing for photos outside with fans who’d come out just to see her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Not only did Kardashian’s unexpected wardrobe choice make headlines, but so too did her comments about her <\/span>law career. During her talk, the 42-year-old <\/span>revealed her plans to take the bar in February 2025, after passing the baby bar <\/span>(First-Year Law Students\u2019 Exam) in December 2021 on her third attempt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kardashian went on to say she’s considering giving up her current role on The Kardashians<\/em> and all that comes with it to practice law full-time. \u201cI joke with my mom \u2014 who’s my manager \u2014 I say, \u2018Kim K is retiring, and I’m just going to be an attorney. So you can go help my siblings so you can still have a job,\u2019\u201d she said via Entertainment Tonight.<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI would be just as happy being an attorney full-time and doing that,\u201d she continued. \u201cThe journey just really opened up my eyes to so much. It gets overwhelming because there’s so much to be done… I would totally spend more time doing that \u2014 cameras, no cameras.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As she’s spoken about previously, Kardashian added that her father, famous attorney Robert Kardashian, was a driving factor in her choice to pursue law, saying, \u201cI know that he would probably get such a kick out of this because he wouldn’t have expected it at all.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here’s hoping in her lawyer era, Kardashian continues to champion unexpected business attire. When she dressed up as Elle Woods for Halloween all those years ago, who would’ve thought she’d soon be the real-life version of her just a few years later? Likely Kim. And Kris.
