Sydney Sweeney<\/a> and Glen Powell<\/a> cozied up together on the red carpet at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Monday evening to promote their upcoming romantic comedy Anyone But You<\/em><\/a>. The pair spent the duration of their appearance beaming and smiling widely at one another, which made many social media users perk up. Could something be going on between the co-stars?<\/p>\n

News broke this week that Powell\u2019s girlfriend of three years, Gigi Paris<\/a>, unfollowed Sweeney<\/a> on Instagram, sparking speculation that her relationship with the Top Gun: Maverick<\/em><\/a> actor was on the rocks.<\/p>\n

In January, it was announced<\/a> that Sony Pictures had acquired the R-rated flick starring Sweeney and Powell, and it would be directed by filmmaker Will Gluck of\u00a0Friends with Benefits<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Easy A<\/em>. At the time, Paris showed support for the new project, commenting on Sweeney\u2019s casting with festive emojis, \u201c\ud83c\udf89\ud83c\udf89\ud83c\udf89.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Page Six<\/em><\/a>, Paris visited the set in Sydney, Australia to spend time with Powell in late March and returned to the US less than two weeks later.<\/p>\n

Throughout production of the movie, the two leads have been spending their free time living it up in Australia<\/a>, going to amusement parks with the rest of the cast, visiting the zoo<\/a>, attending football games and doing touristy sightseeing \u2014 all while posting to social media along the way.<\/p>\n

Many have wondered if their palpable chemistry is merely a marketing ploy to garner excitement for the film. Some social media posts have seemed more intimate than others \u2014 recently, Sweeney posted a video of Powell dipping her backwards while she was decked out in a swimsuit, which is not necessarily something a girlfriend would enjoy seeing.<\/p>\n
