Attention all fashion fanatics: There’s a new book coming soon and we’re deeming it “required reading.” Supermodel Linda Evangelista<\/a> and acclaimed fashion photographer Steven Meisel<\/a> just announced they are releasing a new book with publishing house Phaidon<\/a>. Linda Evangelista Photographed by Steven Meisel<\/em><\/a> will serve as the legendary photographer\u2019s first retrospective monograph and the model\u2019s first book ever.<\/p>\n

With an introduction by author and former fashion editor William Norwich, the book encompasses images from the duo\u2019s first photoshoot together in 1987 through 2011, with over 190 photos offering a rare glimpse inside the evolution of their work together. Some shots haven’t been seen in decades, and others have gone down as some of the most memorable images in the industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis book is a celebration of our friendship, and an expression of our gratitude for the lives and careers we\u2019ve been given,\u201d\u00a0Evangelista<\/a> and Meisel express in the introduction.<\/p>\n

Meisel adds, “Every day that I went to work with Linda, I thought it was very glamorous. We had fun. Enjoy these photographs as much as we enjoyed every second creating them.”<\/p>\n

To share the news, Meisel joined Instagram to promote the release with Evangelista<\/a>. (The only account he follows so far? Evangelista of course.) In a shared post, the pair wrote, \u201cWe have been making images together since we first met in 1987. The book will be available around the world on September 13th by @phaidonpress<\/a>. With our love and thanks, Linda and Steven.\u201d<\/p>\n
