Fashion\u2019s night of nights, the 2023 Met Gala<\/a>, is ceremoniously an evening of sartorial sensationalism, with everyone in the industry either invited or dying for a ticket.<\/p>\n

However, this year\u2019s iteration of the annual gala has not only delivered its fair share of drama with speculation that a certain famous family is no longer invited, but it could also be likely that a few familiar faces will be absent from the carpeted Met steps come the first Monday in May.<\/p>\n

Indeed, rumors are circulating the internet that Hailey Bieber<\/a> could be skipping out on this year\u2019s soir\u00e9e<\/a>, instead choosing to stay home and work on her Rhode skincare brand.<\/a><\/p>\n

But is Bieber really bailing on the Met?<\/p>\n

Ever since her Met Gala debut in 2015, the 26-year-old has risen up fashion\u2019s ranks to become one of the most hotly-anticipated attendees of the evening \u2014 and one who has never RSVPed \u2018No\u2019 to the gala, consecutively appearing at the Met Gala for the past seven years straight.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, according to Bieber’s staunch supporters \u2014 see: her adherents that chronicle every move she makes via fan accounts \u2014 the Saint Laurent muse confirmed to them directly she won\u2019t be going.<\/p>\n

A screenshot of an alleged conversation these accounts had with Hailey has started making the rounds on Twitter, with the model reportedly writing: “I\u2019m not going to the Met this year \ud83e\udd0d \ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffc gearing up for our next rhode launch so decided to sit this one out but will be back next year \ud83e\udd0d\ud83e\udd0d\ud83e\udd0d\u201d<\/p>\n
