On Wednesday night, a slew of stars showed up to celebrate the new H&M collaboration with Mugler<\/a> in an array of head-turning looks. Stars like Pamela Anderson, Dorothy Wang<\/a> and Charli XCX<\/a> arrived in sheer, cutout and corseted ensembles \u2014 but one star wore a combination of the most eye-catching elements with her barely-there get-up, Lourdes Leon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old daughter of Madonna<\/a> and Carlos Leon wore a cutout ensemble that left little to the imagination. The singer arrived in a criss-cross halter catsuit with exaggerated cutouts on the bodice, along the obliqu\u00e9s and down the leg of her one-piece. She teamed it with a more modest knitted duster that she wore loosely off her shoulders<\/p>\n

Lourdes sat front-row alongside musician Charli XCX<\/a>, actress Chlo\u00eb Sevigny<\/a> and superstar Pamela Anderson, and they were seated right next to Mugler creative director Casey Cadwallader<\/a> and designer and\u00a0H&M<\/a>\u2019s creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson.<\/p>\n

Last June, Leon and Sevigny starred in a fashion-fueled fever dream of a video for Mugler’s Spring\/Summer 2022<\/a> collection (Megan Thee Stallion<\/a> and Bella Hadid<\/a> also made appearances). For their part in the clip, Sevigny posed on a film set as the crew made up of models all wore designs from the new season, then Leon lead a cast of models down an all-white runway.<\/p>\n

The global launch event took place at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City that included a high-energy runway show featuring the likes of Irina Shayk<\/a> (who modeled two-tone jeans and a corset-like top), there were also performances from models. Earlier in the day, the brands hosted a panel discussion<\/a> with journalist Jose Criales-Unzueta to explain how the collaboration came about and what fans can expect from the offering.<\/p>\n

Johansson said that when she asked H&M employees who they think is the most interesting brand of the moment, they kept naming\u00a0 Mugler<\/a>. In addition to special capsule pieces, the two powerhouses decided to also have limited-edition archival remakes as well, showing its founder Thierry Mugler<\/a>‘s influence as well as Cadwallader’s.<\/p>\n

Mugler<\/a> had started sketching ideas before he died in January 2022. “Sadly enough, Mr. Mugler passed away,\u201d Johansson explained. \u201cWe were then determined to pursue this and make it happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Cadwallader, he said he’s excited to partner with H&M to bring his designs to the masses. \u201cI\u2019ve always really believed that a collection should be available to people. I don\u2019t really believe in fashion being for the exclusive few and I think that\u2019s the way that I\u2019m always designing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Mugler x H&M collection<\/a> in stores and online on May 11 with prices ranging from $49.99 to
