After the mystery\/thriller Knives Out<\/em> premiered in 2019, the internet could not stop talking about one specific thing about the movie \u2014 the now-iconic chunky white cable-knit sweater<\/a> Chris Evans<\/a>‘ character wore during a scene with Ana de Armas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the time, a tweet<\/a> went viral from reporter Anna Menta when she wrote, \u201cThe only thing I will say about Knives Out<\/em>\u00a0is that, upon seeing\u00a0Chris Evans\u00a0in a sweater, the girl next to me gasped and said very softly and tenderly, \u2018Sweater.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

It’s been a subject of fascination ever since the film came out \u2014 even though his castmate Daniel Craig doesn’t quite understand the hype<\/a>. While promoting the next Knives Out<\/em>\u00a0installment,\u00a0Glass Onion<\/a>, <\/em>Craig said in a BBC Radio 1 interview<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s the bit that goes over my head. I don\u2019t understand. It\u2019s like, so Chris Evans is wearing a jumper. It\u2019s like he\u2019s naked or at least naked from the sort of waist down, wearing a jumper. I\u2019m like, \u2018He\u2019s just wearing a jumper.\u2019 News is like, \u2018Chris Evans wears jumper!\u2019 [But] sure, it\u2019s a living. He does it very well. He wears it very beautifully.\u201d<\/p>\n

Evans is still wearing the style “beautifully,” to quote Craig, and stepped out on Tuesday in a summer-ready version of the knit for the premiere of his new film Ghosted<\/em>, co-starring his fellow Knives Out<\/em> star, de Armas.<\/p>\n

The actor arrived in a light knit cream-colored sweater from King & Tuckfield. The piece features stripes of a summery light green accenting the collar and two pockets, plus the ribbed design of the knit gives it that cozy feel, reminiscent of the iconic Knives Out<\/em> sweater. He paired it with coordinating green Giuliva Heritage pants, VINNY\u2019s loafers and an IWC Schaffhausen watch, styled by Ilaria Urbinati.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, he made the press tour rounds in another piece by King & Tuckfield \u2014 a brown and tan printed Merino wool polo<\/a>. And also wore a navy blue vest from knitwear brand, John Smedley for a stop at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>.<\/p>\n
