Gigi Hadid<\/a> is one of the top models in the world, and as a celebrity regular on red carpets in Hollywood, has naturally had a few high-profile boyfriends over the years.<\/p>\n

Like most celebrities, Hadid isn’t super public<\/a> about her romances \u2013 but through some of her long-term relationships she has given us a glimpse of her private life.<\/p>\n

Her most famous relationship is obviously with Zayn Malik<\/a>, the father of her daughter Khai<\/a>. Malik and Hadid had a seemingly perfect romance until 2021, when an alleged physical altercation between Malik and Hadid’s mother, Yolanda<\/a>, ended their relationship. Still, the pair continue to co-parent Khai amicably,<\/a> and Gigi Hadid seems to maintain a mature outlook on their future \u2013\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em> recently quoted a source, who said in light of rumors Malik was now seeing Selena Gomez<\/a>, “Gigi has no problem whatsoever with Zayn dating. As long as he is happy and stable and continues to be a good co-parent to Khai<\/a>\u00a0[Gigi and Zayn’s 2 year old daughter], she’s fine with whoever he goes out with.”<\/p>\n

Here, we take a look back at Gigi Hadid’s past relationships (and some rumored flings).<\/p>\n

Cody Simpson: 2013 – 2015<\/h2>\n

The epitome of young love, Cody Simpson and Gigi Hadid<\/a> were a low-key romance at first \u2013 neither party was as famous as they are today, with Simpson still starting his music career and Hadid not yet at supermodel status.<\/p>\n

They first met when Hadid starred in Simpson’s music video for his track “Surfboard,” and while their relationship did hit a rough patch in 2014 for a few months, they came back together for another year.<\/p>\n

That bump was likely due to Hadid’s star power rising \u2013 and along with it, major media attention.<\/p>\n

According to Simpson, this is what led to their eventual breakup. Speaking to\u00a0DuJour<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>the singer said “I love my ex-girlfriend, I always will. It was an amicable, mutual decision, and we still talk every now and then, but the highly publicized thing made me uncomfortable. Going out to dinner and there being all this paparazzi and stuff… As soon as we split I had the realization that I was straying away from who I was as a whole person. I want to keep it low-key and focus on my music.”<\/p>\n

Daniel Sharman: 2014<\/h2>\n

During their brief split in 2014, Gigi Hadid was linked to Teen Wolf<\/em> star Daniel Sharman. The pair were seen spending time together in New York in October 2014, but if anything beyond friends was going on it likely ended due to Hadid giving things with Simpson another try.<\/p>\n

Lewis Hamilton: 2015<\/h2>\n

After breaking up with Cody Simpson, Hadid was rumored to be seeing British racing driver Lewis Hamilton. The Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> shared photos of Hamilton and Hadid at the Monaco Grand Prix looking close, and the model then shared a group snap (which also featured Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid) to Instagram, captioned “We love you @lewishamilton. Everyone knows you da champ. #TEAMLH.”<\/p>\n

Just friends or something more? We’ll likely never know, but the pair remained close, later starring as the global women’s and men’s ambassadors<\/a> for Tommy Hilfiger.<\/p>\n

Joe Jonas: 2015<\/h2>\n

Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas<\/a> was probably Hadid’s most talked-about relationship prior to Zayn Malik, purely because of its sharp rise and dramatic fall.<\/p>\n

The couple met in early 2015, and seemed to fall for each other rapidly \u2013 Cara Delevingne famously shared a photo<\/a> of the pair on Instagram in July, blessing them with their own couple’s name. “Introducing G.I. JOE,” the caption read.<\/p>\n

However by September, their relationship was over \u2013 and Jonas took it hard. Why? Because Hadid moved on with Zayn Malik. \u201cI think it\u2019s interesting that she moved on so quickly, I mean it was definitely very quick,\u201d he told\u00a0The Mirror<\/em> at the time, also deleting a post from his Instagram of himself, Malik and Kanye West he had captioned “”#SQUAD.”<\/p>\n

Later in 2016 while playing the game “Plead the Fifth” on Watch What Happens Live,<\/em>\u00a0when asked who he would “marry, shag or kill” out of his ex-girlfriends Gigi Hadid, Demi Lovato\u00a0and\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a> \u2014 he assigned kill to Hadid.<\/p>\n

Zayn Malik: 2015 – 2021<\/h2>\n

While Gigi Hadid may have moved on quickly with Zayn Malik after splitting from Joe Jonas, their relationship proved to be rock-solid, at least for a time.<\/p>\n

Happy to be extra public with their love, the couple co-starred in a\u00a0Vogue<\/em> fashion shoot in Naples, Italy for the magazine’s May issue, before making their Met Gala debut the same month. Hadid also starred in Malik’s music video for “Pillowtalk.”<\/p>\n

Definitely an on\/off couple, they split up for three months in 2018 after making a public announcement in March, got back together briefly, split up again in January 2019, and then a year later were seen at dinner in New York. A source at the time told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> that they were “trying to make it work.”<\/p>\n

Then in April 2020, news broke that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik were expecting their first child together. Daughter Khai<\/a> was born in September, and it was smooth sailing for a year and a half (at least publicly).<\/p>\n

However in October 2021 Hadid ended the relationship after an alleged physical altercation<\/a> occurred between Malik and her mother, Yolanda. \u201cThey are not together right now. They are both good parents though,\u201d a family friend to the Hadid’s told People<\/em> at the time<\/a>. \u201cThey co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.\u201d<\/p>\n

Malik then made a statement<\/a>, saying on social media, \u201cThis was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been \u2018leaked\u2019 to the press. I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly, I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves.\u201d<\/p>\n

As per E! News<\/em><\/a>, who obtained court documents, Malik denied the allegations and pleaded no contest to four counts of harassment. He was put on probation and ordered to complete an anger management class.<\/p>\n

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik remain amicable, however, as co-parents to Khai \u2013 according to\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em>, the model has welcomed Malik’s rumored new relationship with Selena Gomez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leonardo DiCaprio: 2022<\/h2>\n

In late 2022, media was buzzing about rumors Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a>, fresh from a split with ex-girlfriend Camille Morrone, was dating Gigi Hadid<\/a>. First photographed at a New York Fashion Week party, reports flew that the pair had been \u201cspending a lot of time together.” DiCaprio was then in Paris during Fashion Week at the same time as Hadid, and according to TMZ<\/em><\/a> both parties were seen entering the same hotel at different times. Why did this matter? Because DiCaprio was at Hotel Costes, while Hadid was at Royal Monceau \u2013 they weren’t at the same hotel officially.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeo is definitely pursuing Gigi<\/a>,\u201d a source told People<\/em> at the time, and so began a several-month fling that involved dinner at New York hotspot Cipriani’s<\/a> (they left covering their faces, but the disguise wasn’t enough) and other sightings.<\/p>\n

However, as of February 2023,\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> confirmed the relationship had unfortunately fizzled. “They both have incredibly busy careers and lives, and although they tried to make time for each other, it really wasn\u2019t enough to make things work,” a source told the outlet. “Gigi has no hard feelings toward Leo and she thinks he\u2019s an incredible guy.
