The first look at Ariana Grande<\/a> and Cynthia Erivo<\/a> in the new film adaptation of Wicked<\/em><\/a> is finally here.<\/p>\n

Director Jon M. Chu posted two dramatic screen stills to Instagram<\/a> on Sunday with the caption, \u201cYou weren\u2019t told the whole story. What happens when you veer off the Yellow Brick Road? Erivo<\/a> commented on the imagery, \u201cIt\u2019s been wonderful making magic with you \ud83d\udc9a\ud83d\udc9a\ud83d\udc9a\ud83d\udc9a\ud83d\udc9a.\u201d In the photo, the actress<\/a> is seen as a green-faced Elphaba, holding her broomstick in a a dark hall full of circular windows wearing a long black cloak and pointy hat.<\/p>\n
