Emily Ratajkowski<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Harry Styles<\/span>\u00a0making out on the streets of\u00a0 Tokyo, Japan<\/a> was footage no one expected to wake up to last month,<\/span> but once we’d aptly contributed to the view count, the union made sense pretty quickly: they’re two of the world’s hottest people, who happen to be freshly single. And, to top it all off, Styles manifested this<\/a> when he was still in One Direction. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now, it appears, Ratajkowski has let slip that the make out session wasn’t a once-off: in fact, it sounds like they\u2019ve actually been seeing each other for over two months.<\/span><\/p>\n

During an appearance on an episode of the <\/span>Going Mental with Eileen Kelly<\/span><\/a> podcast released March 9 (two weeks before she was seen with Styles), Ratajkowski candidly spoke about a new romance with a \u201cgreat\u201d mystery guy.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI just started dating someone that I think I like, so that is different. I was like, ‘He’s kind of great,\u2019\u201d she said, without naming names. \u201cBut if you had been talking to me four weeks ago, absolutely. I would be seeing someone and then suddenly the way he would walk would be like, ugh.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The model, author and podcaster was then asked what she looks for in a partner, to which she replied, \u201cWhat do I look for in a partner? I like someone that is very independent. I think, for me, that’s very important because I do have a full life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI’m hoping that dating someone that has more of their own life will prevent the issues I had before,\u201d she continued, alluding to her marriage with ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, with whom she shares a 2-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, and who was recently accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elsewhere during the conversation, Ratajkowski spoke about the anxiety that can come with dating in the digital age, explaining that \u201cit\u2019s hard to casually date.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s hard to avoid what people say online. I’ll read stuff on Twitter or, when I am on set, people will say, ‘I saw that thing’. It’s hard to casually date,\u201d she shared. \u201c’Every time I am photographed with someone \u2013 that’s happened even when I’ve only seen them a couple of times. If you are dating multiple people at the same time, it’s pretty brutal when they wake up and are like, ‘I’ve only been seeing you for two days.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She added, \u201cNot that I need to worry about them, but it made it very complicated and gave me a lot of anxiety. That part of it has been hard but otherwise it’s been fun. I will be like, ‘Sure, I’ll go to dinner, why
