From the ‘90s<\/a> to Y2K<\/a>, beauty’s penchant for nostalgia is showing no signs of slowing down. The latest piece of evidence? Nail piercing, which is making a comeback in a major way. The hashtag #nailpiercing now has more than 13 million views and counting on TikTok, as the decorative nail trend \u2014 which sees nail art enthusiasts add a ring, stud or chains to their nails \u2014 makes a notable return to prominence.<\/p>\n

It should come as little surprise that such a memorable trend should once again resurface, given fashion and beauty’s current obsession with all things Noughties. As our brows get thinner<\/a>, our lipliner gets darker<\/a> and having stacked ear piercings continues in popularity, nail piercings were almost guaranteed to re-enter the chat at some stage \u2013 especially when the likes of Victoria Beckham<\/a> are on board.<\/p>\n
