Lady Gaga is dredging up some long-forgotten fashion aesthetics with her most recent looks.<\/p>\n

Snapped walking down the streets in the Bronx, the singer and actress sported an outfit that some netizens may recognize as peak 2010s “Indie Sleaze.”<\/a><\/p>\n

All part of a costume for the upcoming sequel Joker: Folie a Deux<\/em><\/a>, Gaga, who plays the notorious Harley Quinn, wore a dark emerald faux fur coat with black lapels and cuffs over a V-neck sweater and floral mini skirt. Adding to the boho-grunge look, she accessorized with black ruffled socks and Mary Jane pumps, as well as a large leather-paneled tote bag and silver pendant necklace.<\/p>\n

Just a few days prior, the star was spotted in another Tumblr-approved outfit on set. While she reached for the same coat and heels, she completed the throwback with a floral mini dress, cardigan and ripped harlequin-style tights.<\/p>\n

Though Margot Robbie<\/a>‘s iconic turn as Harley Quinn<\/a> in the Suicide Squad<\/em> films<\/a> saw a campy take on the character’s aesthetic, Joker<\/em>‘s costume designer Arianne Phillips has taken a more sober approach to Gaga’s Quinn.<\/p>\n

Our first look<\/a> at the character’s wardrobe<\/a> came last week when the cast was spotted filming in Manhattan. Amongst a sea of protesters, Gaga could be seen wearing a red satin blazer with tulle sleeves and a diamond print, a black-and-white corset top, a leather mini skirt and the same torn tights tucked into heeled ankle boots.<\/p>\n

Starring alongside Joaquin Phoenix<\/a> as Joker, the actress<\/a> and singer will play Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a psychiatrist who becomes deeply attached to her patient, Arthur Fleck (Joker) and transforms into Harley Quinn.<\/p>\n

The film, a sequel to the 2019 film Joker<\/em>, is set to be released in October of 2024 and will involve some musical numbers by
