The festive season is officially upon us, with less than a month until Christmas Day<\/a>, and less than six weeks until this sad, sorry year draws to an end. For many of us, the New Year can’t come soon enough, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take a moment to enjoy the merriment this time of year offers\u2014champagne, gift-giving, and the excuse to buy a so-bad-it’s-good Christmas sweater.<\/p>\n

For those who hear the phrase ‘Christmas sweater’ and conjure to mind the kind of hideous, reindeer-heavy number Colin Firth wore in Bridget Jones Diary<\/em>, think again. There is a whole range of holiday-appropriate, tasteful designer sweaters available to purchase right now. In fact, festive sweaters have had a makeover in the last few years, thanks to nods of approval from brands like Loewe, Prada, and Etro.<\/p>\n
