Ariana Grande<\/a> and Cynthia Erivo<\/a> are celebrating the success of their Academy Award-winning<\/a> Wicked<\/em> costar Michelle Yeoh<\/a>. On Sunday evening, they toasted Yeoh\u2019s 2023 Oscar win at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel in London.<\/p>\n

Yeoh made history as the first Asian woman to win the Academy Award<\/a> for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2023 ceremony for the imaginative film Everything Everywhere All at Once<\/em>. Now, she\u2019s set to play Madame Morrible in the new film adaptation of <\/a>Wicked<\/em><\/a>, alongside Erivo as Elphaba and Grande as Glinda, the Good Witch of the North.<\/p>\n

Grande<\/a> posed with Yeoh and wore a simple black V-neck sleeveless knit top and a black leather Christian Dior<\/a> mini skort with a gold CD buckle<\/a> and accessorized with pearl drop earrings. The \u201cDangerous Woman\u201d singer sported a bright blonde ponytail<\/a>\u00a0with matching blonde eyebrows to play the famously fair-haired witch.<\/p>\n

Erivo<\/a>, on the other hand, remained committed to her signature maximalist aesthetic, wearing a white and green striped button-down dress shirt with a sage green silk tie under a metallic silver knit jumper. The Harriet <\/em>actress slipped into a pair of brown platform boots and completed her look with pastel green thick-framed glasses.<\/p>\n

Yeoh wore a beige-colored\u00a0 knee-length tank dress with an embroidered white jacket on top.<\/p>\n

Grande took to her Instagram Stories with selfie of the trio, writing \u201cwe love you so much @michelleyeoh_official<\/a> it hurts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Naomi Campbell<\/a>, Anya Taylor-Joy<\/a> and Wicked <\/em>director Jon M. Chu were also in attendance.<\/p>\n

The Universal musical is set to hit theaters on November 27, 2024<\/a>. Last April, production\u00a0announced<\/a> they would be breaking the story up into two films. The sequel will be released one year later.<\/p>\n
