If you\u2019ve been anywhere near TikTok in the past week, you\u2019ll be well aware that Taylor Swift\u2019<\/a>s Eras Tour has begun<\/a>. The long-awaited world tour by Swift \u2014 her previous one ended in 2018, pre-pandemic \u2014 was so anticipated by fans that when tickets went on sale, Ticketmaster immediately crashed. And now that she\u2019s finally live in front of thousands performing shows in the US, fans \u2014 including Emma Stone, Haim and Laura Dern \u2014 are positively <\/span>losing it. <\/span><\/i>N<\/span>ot only those who managed to snag a golden ticket, but those watching from home. We are in the midst of Swift mania.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One person who likely had access to a golden ticket but who seemingly didn\u2019t use it was Swift\u2019s long-term boyfriend (maybe fianc\u00e9?<\/a>), Joe Alwyn<\/a>, who wasn\u2019t spotted side-of-stage doing any supportive Olivia Wilde-like dancing<\/a> for Swift\u2019s first few shows. <\/span><\/p>\n

But if anyone was freaking out about the state of the pair\u2019s relationship (and, yes, on TikTok, they most definitely were), thankfully, all is well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

People<\/span><\/i><\/a> gave a rare update on Swift and Alwyn\u2019s relationship of over six years and how they plan to handle Swift’s tour schedule with a source telling the outlet, \u201cJoe will travel with her when he can. They are great together. Joe is super supportive of her career.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

They added that Swift has been excited to get back on the stage, saying \u201cshe has rehearsed for months and was ready. She is in amazing shape. She loves connecting with her fans again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift and Alwyn don\u2019t speak publicly about their romance much, but the singer did open up a little about their private dynamic when teasing her song \u201cLavender Haze\u201d last year<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI happened upon the phrase ‘lavender haze’ when I was watching <\/span>Mad Men<\/span><\/i>. I looked it up because I thought it sounded cool,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd it turns out that it\u2019s a common phrase used in the \u201950s where they would describe being in love. If you’re in the \u2018lavender haze,\u2019 then that meant you were in that all-encompassing love glow. And I thought that was really beautiful.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI guess, theoretically, when you\u2019re in the \u2018lavender haze,\u2019 you\u2019ll do anything to stay there,\u201d Swift continued. \u201cAnd not let people bring you down off of that cloud. I think that a lot of people have to deal with this now, not just like \u2018public figures,\u2019 because we live in the era of social media, and if the world finds out if you\u2019re in love with somebody they\u2019re going to weigh in on it. Like my relationship for six years we\u2019ve had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it.
