Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse are engaged!<\/p>\n

According to reports, Sprouse<\/a>, 30, popped the question to Palvin<\/a>, 29 after five years of dating. And while neither party has publicly confirmed the news, it seems the two have been quietly celebrating with those close to them. “Dylan and Barbara are engaged,” a source told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a>. “They have been showing off her ring to people and are so happy.”<\/p>\n

“They\u2019re always very in love with one another and by each other\u2019s sides, but they\u2019re even happier than usual,” the insider said. “They can\u2019t wait to start this new chapter together.”<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the couple sparked engagement rumors<\/a> when the model attended the Mammoth Film Festival wearing a diamond on her ring finger. Though she took the piece off for the red carpet<\/a>, she was photographed wearing it again later in the evening.<\/p>\n

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody<\/em> actor and the former Victoria’s Secret<\/a> model started dating<\/a> in 2018 after Sprouse slid into Palvin\u2019s DMs.<\/p>\n

“She followed me, so I was like, I guess I’ll give her something. And I slid into her DMs,” he explained in an interview, recalling that he then gave her his number. “I was like, ‘Hey, I don\u2019t know if you\u2019re in New York for very long, but we should hang out if you want to. Here\u2019s my number.”<\/p>\n

But to throw a spanner in his courtship, his future fianc\u00e9e took nearly six months to reply.<\/p>\n

As the Hungarian native explained, the reason she waited so long was that she “wasn\u2019t in a good mindset at the time,” and knew deep down that it “could be something more.” She made up for the delay with a bold move: flying out to China, where he was filming at the time, in order to have their first date<\/a>.<\/p>\n
