Bad Bunny<\/a> may now be releasing songs with reference to his new flame, Kendall Jenner<\/a> \u2014 in new music released earlier this week, he dissed Jenner’s ex-boyfriend through lyrics<\/a> and spoke about “dangerous” Scorpio women \u2014 but the Puerto Rican rapper is simultaneously dealing with the repercussions of being inspired by a former girlfriend.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0The Associated Press<\/a>,<\/em> Carliz De La Cruz Hern\u00e1ndez, who dated Bad Bunny from 2011-2015 and briefly again in 2017, is suing the rapper, claiming in a new lawsuit filed in a Puerto Rico court this month that a voice note she provided him was used for profit without her consent.<\/p>\n

The phrase “Bad Bunny, baby” which De La Cruz recorded herself saying can be heard in two of Bad Bunny\u2019s hit songs: \u201cPa Ti\u201d and \u201cDos Mil 16.\u201d The former of which has 355 million views on YouTube and more than 235 million Spotify streams, while the latter has more than 60 million views on YouTube and 280 million streams.<\/p>\n

De La Cruz says she was offered $2,000 for the voice recording to be used in Bad Bunny’s music in 2022, according to the lawsuit, however, she declined the offer. Regardless, it was still used for Bad Bunny\u2019s \u201cUn Verano Sin Ti\u201d album.<\/p>\n

According to Page Six<\/em><\/a>, the filing also alleges that De La Cruz\u2019s \u201cdistinguishable voice\u201d has made her recognizable to Bad Bunny’s fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince then, thousands of people have commented directly on Carliz\u2019s social media networks, as well as every time she goes to a public place, about the \u2018Bad Bunny, baby.\u2019 This has caused, and currently causes, that De La Cruz feels worried, anguished, intimidated, overwhelmed and anxious,\u201d the lawsuit states.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Bad Bunny, who moved to Los Angeles earlier this year, has been dating Kendall Jenner, most recently seen leaving the Oscars afterparty with the model earlier this month. Despite reportedly not looking for anything serious, Jenner has begun “catching feelings”<\/a> for the musician, something no doubt helped along by those new song lyrics.<\/p>\n

Here’s hoping Bad Bunny knows better than to include any voice notes without her permission or face the wrath of Kris
