Selena Gomez<\/a> has returned to social media to ask fans to be kinder, following her and Hailey Bieber\u2019s most recent drama<\/a> that prompted Gomez to go offline and her fans to cyberbully Bieber with the justification that Bieber herself is a bully.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gomez jumped on TikTok to post a video, then added two comments on it, asking above all that people be mindful and more considerate of other people\u2019s mental health.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThank you and love you all so much. I\u2019m deeply grateful for each and every one of you humans. You make me unbelievably happy,\u201d she wrote, before adding, \u201cPlease, please be kinder and consider others mental health. My heart has been heavy, and I only want good for everyone. All my love.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When Bieber went on the Call Her Daddy <\/em>podcast last year<\/a>, she spoke about the impact that hate from Gomez\u2019s fans had on her mental health, saying at one point it made her seriously depressed. \u201cWhen things can get really dark, and you can start having thoughts of, like, it not being worth it anymore or not wanting to be here anymore, which I have had before in the past,\u201d the model said at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n

A day after Bieber\u2019s interview dropped, Gomez told fans, \u201cI think some of the things that I don\u2019t even need to be aware of are just vile and disgusting. And it\u2019s not fair because no one ever should be spoken to in the manner that I\u2019ve seen and all I have to say is it\u2019s incredibly ironic that I would release something that is all about kind words [her makeup line Rare Beauty\u2019s Kind Words range]\u00a0 \u2018cause that\u2019s exactly what I want. That\u2019s it. If you support Rare, I cannot thank you enough, but know that you are also representing what it means and that is words matter. Truly matter.”<\/span><\/p>\n

She continued, “So it\u2019s coming from me, and I just want all of you to know that I hope that you understand that this is much bigger than anything else. I\u2019m really grateful to all of you for hearing me out, so have a wonderful rest of your day, and I appreciate all the love. Thank you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
