Kaia Gerber<\/a> might be one of the world’s most exciting young models right now, one who’s also adding acting roles<\/a> to her belt in fast succession. But right now, all eyes are on Gerber’s boyfriend, Austin Butler, as the countdown for the Academy Awards begins.<\/p>\n

Butler, who’s widely considered a frontrunner for Best Actor at the Oscars<\/a> for his portrayal of Elvis Presley<\/a> in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis<\/em>, was recognized over the weekend at W Magazine<\/em>\u2019s 2023 Annual Best Performances party.<\/p>\n

Attending as a supportive plus one, Gerber wore a winter-friendly version of the ever-popular naked dress (L.A. has been uncharacteristically cold of late) in a black embroidered crochet dress from Celine by Hedi Slimane.<\/p>\n

Of course, crochet has been trending for a while now, with everyone from Bella Hadid to Dua Lipa wearing knitted pieces. But Gerber is the first to prove the material can work after hours \u2014 and be incredibly sexy at that.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford<\/a>‘s V-neck column gown featured thin spaghetti straps and a high leg-slit, which she wore with nothing other than beige-colored underwear and a pair of strappy sandals. Keeping the look paired back and chic, she added a pair of diamond drop earrings and wore her caramel hair in an old Hollywood style deep part with gentle waves.<\/p>\n

Equally stylish Butler<\/a> wore a tuxedo jacket layered over a silk black shirt and matching trousers, adding a thin silver chain around his neck and keeping his blonde hair in an undone style.<\/p>\n

According to a Page Six<\/a><\/em> source, Gerber and Butler, who first sparked romance rumors in November 2021 and made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in 2022, were “making out all night.”<\/p>\n

Despite posing for photos together, Butler and Gerber have remained quiet about their relationship to the press.<\/p>\n

When asked about Gerber during an August 2022 interview with GQ,<\/em>\u00a0Butler responded, \u201cI don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything I want to share about that, but thank you for providing the space.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here’s hoping the Oscars provides the space for another red carpet moment, and perhaps another PDA celebration
