Gisele B\u00fcndchen<\/a> is ushering in a new era after her highly publicized split<\/a> from NFL quarterback Tom Brady<\/a>. Last week, she showed fans a video of herself practicing her dance moves<\/a> in anticipation for Rio de Janeiro Carnival. And over the weekend, she gave followers a glimpse into all the fun she had during the annual celebration.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the supermodel was in her native Brazil and danced the night away in Rio de Janeiro. B\u00fcndchen shared footage of herself on Instagram Stories<\/a> pre-gaming with friends at a house party, then celebrated in the streets during the city\u2019s famous carnival.<\/p>\n

For the occasion, B\u00fcndchen wore low-rise white jeans with an ultra-cropped \u201cBrahma\u201d graphic tee, matching her group of friends, and showing off her rock-hard abs. In photos taken at the event, B\u00fcndchen was seen with a huge smile on her face, as she threw her hands up in the air as the carnival floats made their way down the street.<\/p>\n

Last week, when the model<\/a> posted the video of herself dancing on Instagram, she showed off her impressive moves alongside her friend and choreographer Justin Neto. \u201cGetting in the mood for carnival! \ud83d\udc83\ud83c\udffc\u2728\ud83c\udf89,\u201d B\u00fcndchen wrote.<\/p>\n

It appears B\u00fcndchen<\/a> is doing \u201cjust fine\u201d following the split from her husband of 13 years. A source told PEOPLE\u00a0<\/em><\/a>that\u2019s in part because she is accustomed to doing things on her own.<\/p>\n

In other reports from\u00a0the outlet<\/a>, a\u00a0source said B\u00fcndchen<\/a> is \u201cstarting over in a good frame of mind\u201d and that she feels \u201cconfident, strong and better than she has in a long, long time.\u201d<\/p>\n
