Ellie Bamber\u2019s star is on the rise. Known for her roles in Tom Ford<\/a>\u2019s Nocturnal Animals<\/em>, The Serpent<\/em>\u00a0and Willow<\/em>, the actress has just been chosen to portray supermodel Kate Moss<\/a> in the upcoming biopic, Moss & Freud<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actress announced the news on Instagram<\/a>, posting a photo posing with Moss in bed, a second photo of herself admiring Freud’s pieces on exhibit and an article of the news of her casting.<\/p>\n

Moss is executive producing the film, which will recount her relationship with one of the most prolific 20th<\/sup>-century English portraitist artists,\u00a0Lucian Freud<\/a>. Academy Award-nominated Derek Jacobi (known for The Sandman<\/em><\/a>, The Crown<\/em><\/a>, The Kings Speech <\/em>and\u00a0Gladiator<\/em>) has been cast to play the late painter.<\/p>\n

GFG Films and Matthew Metcalfe are set to produce alongside Moss with the support of the Lucian Freud Archive.<\/p>\n
