Megan Fox<\/a>‘s mermaid-length black hair has been her signature look her entire public career, from her breakthrough role in Transformers<\/em> to her now-cult Jennifer’s Body<\/em>-era to her and Machine Gun Kelly<\/a>‘s recent pop culture resurgence<\/a> and gothic romance.<\/p>\n

But over the weekend, the 36-year-old debuted not only a shorter cut and bangs \u2014 already a major change as any woman who’s constantly debating chopping their hair off would know \u2014 but blonde locks to boot.<\/p>\n

On Instagram, Fox, who’s only gone to to the lighter side<\/a> temporarily before, with the most recent example her platinum pink style<\/a> for the premiere of Kelly’s Hulu documentary, Life in Pink<\/em>, shared two selfies showing off her new do.<\/p>\n

The look consists of shoulder-length honey-blonde hair with an ombr\u00e9 effect from her dark at the roots to a lighter honey-blonde and a wispy fringe that covers her forehead and rests just above her eyes.<\/p>\n

Fox paired her new style with smoky eyeshadow and a glossy pink lip, while wearing low-key outfits consisting of a green tank with a black sweater in the first pic and a dark gray button-down in the second.<\/p>\n

Despite pulling off the look, the backdrop in both images appears to be a set trailer, hinting at the change likely being a temporary one for the project Fox appears to be filming: a new sci-fi movie, titled\u00a0Subservience<\/em>, which she stars in alongside 365 Days<\/em>‘ Michele Morrone.<\/p>\n

Even if Fox hasn’t become a blonde bombshell for good, the bob she’s sporting has been popular among celebrities this year. Hailey Bieber recently cut her hair<\/a> into a short, blunt brunette bob and so too did Jenna Ortega<\/a>, who opted to keep hers layered instead of sharp.<\/p>\n
