Beloved Hollywood sweethearts Julia Roberts<\/a> and Jennifer Aniston<\/a> are teaming up for an exciting new project. The two actresses are set to star in a body-swap comedy for Amazon Studios from Palm Springs<\/em> writer-director Max Barbakow, according to Deadline<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s reported that the new movie will be based on an original pitch from Barbakow, but the film\u2019s details remain under wraps. The plot, title and release date are still unknown, but it\u2019s been confirmed that Roberts and Aniston will trade identities in the upcoming release.<\/p>\n

Amazon Studios won a \u201cheated\u201d auction for the rights to the buzzy new film. Margot Robbie<\/a>\u2019s production company LuckyChap Entertainment will co-produce with Barbakow, Robert\u2019s production company Red Om Films, and Aniston\u2019s Echo Films.<\/p>\n

This won’t be the first time Roberts and Aniston have worked together, the two Hollywood heavyweights appeared in the 2016 romantic comedy Mother\u2019s Day<\/em> alongside one another.<\/p>\n

There’s been talk of another body-swap comedy lately too, when fans learned that both Jamie Lee Curtis<\/a> and Lindsay Lohan<\/a> would be on board for a Freaky Friday<\/em> sequel. Curtis confirmed the she wants to reprise her role in December telling ET<\/em>, “we’re talking about it, for sure<\/a>.”\u00a0Lohan also shared details with Jimmy Fallon in November<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on\u00a0The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, <\/em>\u00a0the late night host told Lohan<\/a> that he heard through the grapevine that Curtis had a great idea for a potential\u00a0Freaky Friday<\/em>\u00a0sequel and pitched it to Lohan.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did speak about it, yeah,\u201d confirmed Lohan. \u201cFirst of all, let\u2019s just take the fact that I was on set filming at the time, and Jamie Lee Curtis writes you, and you just get excited and distracted immediately. So, I had to bring myself down to earth and be like, \u2018Okay, I\u2019m on set I have to focus.\u2019 And then she said,\u00a0Freaky Friday 2<\/em>, and I got more excited.\u201d She added, \u201cWe would both be into it.\u201d<\/p>\n
