When we think of Chanel through the lens of beauty, a red lip comes to mind. A luxuriate defined by timelessness more so than trends, a bold crimson pout personifies the understated elegance the house is known for.<\/p>\n

But at the SS23 Haute Couture runway show in Paris, makeup artist Lisa Butler<\/a> gave the hue a fresh, high-shine update.<\/p>\n

The collection \u2014 which was inspired by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel’s infatuation with animal d\u00e9cor \u2014 was classic Chanel with a touch of whimsy. As for makeup, Butler showed off fresh skin with a glossy finish (no doubt the work of the Baume Esentiele Multi-Use Glow Stick<\/a>). Brows were natural, cheeks were washed with poppy blush, and the lips were painted with bright gloss.<\/p>\n
