Michelle Yeoh had a very exciting, busy day on Tuesday. After she scored her first Academy Award nomination for Everything Everywhere All at Once<\/em>, the acclaimed actress celebrated the milestone from the front row of the Giorgio Armani<\/a> Priv\u00e9 Spring\/Summer 2023 Haute Couture runway presentation during Paris Fashion Week. (No big deal.<\/em>)<\/p>\n

Dressed by the brand, Yeoh looked as chic as ever in a navy blue blazer covered in sparkling sequins and thin vertical ombr\u00e9 stripes. Yeoh teamed the ensemble with slouchy navy parachute trousers, classic black pumps, dainty diamond drop earrings and a burgundy clutch. She swept her curled brunette locks to the side, and kept her glam minimal and neutral, sporting a rosy blush and miles-long lashes.<\/p>\n

Yeoh posed at the show with fellow 2023 Oscar nominees, Elvis<\/em><\/a> director Baz Luhrmann and his wife, costume designer Catherine Martin, who both scored nods for their work in the Elvis Presley biopic.<\/p>\n

Yeoh’s film, Everything Everywhere All at Once<\/em>, earned the most nominations of the year with 11. Yeoh made history as the first Malaysian actress and the first woman of Chinese descent to score an Oscar nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role. (It’s been said<\/a> that some consider Merle Oberon to be the first Asian Best Actress nominee in 1936, but the star passed for white and concealed her Sri Lankan ancestry.)<\/p>\n

On Jan. 10, Yeoh took home her first Golden Globe Award<\/a> for her portrayal of Evelyn Quan Wang, and hilariously demanded the exit music to stop playing after it interrupted her acceptance speech. \u201cShut up, please. I can beat you up, okay? And I\u2019m serious,\u201d Yeoh laughed, before finishing.<\/p>\n

She’s been lighting up red carpets on her press tours and throughout awards season, paving her own path in the process. With the help of stylist Jordan Johnson Chung, the 60-year-old fashionista has harnessed a unique sartorial sensibility donning exuberant ensembles from Giorgio Armani to Schiaparelli and Carolina Herrera, we can\u2019t wait to see what Yeoh has up her sleeve for the Oscars.<\/p>\n

The 2023 Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 12 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.<\/p>\n
