After rumors swirled all week that Selena Gomez was dating Chainsmokers singer Drew Taggart<\/a>, the actress finally cleared the air.\u00a0Turns out, despite photos circulating showing Gomez on a bowling date with the musician in N.Y.C., she is in fact, single.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old confirmed her relationship status in a now-deleted Instagram Story on Dec. 19. Gomez shared a black and white photo of a person\u2019s profile against a scenic backdrop writing, \u201cI like being alone too much.”<\/p>\n

In the photo, reported by The DailyMail<\/em><\/a>,<\/em> she added the hashtag, \u201c#iamsingle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, photographs obtained by Page Six <\/a><\/em>were released showing the pair bowling together on Sunday evening at a bowling alley in Brooklyn and a sourced told the outlet that the two were \u201cmaking out.\u201d<\/p>\n

The onslaught of media attention all started a day earlier when\u00a0US Weekly<\/a><\/em>\u00a0reported that a source said that Gomez and Taggart were dating and \u00a0\u201chaving a lot of fun together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taggart was last linked to Steve Jobs’ daughter, Eve Jobs, and previously dated\u00a0model and DJ Chantel Jeffries, while Gomez was previously seen with\u00a0Italian Canadian film producer Andrea Iervolino<\/a>\u00a0in August of last year.<\/p>\n

Fans can always count on Gomez to keep it real on social media no matter the topic. Just before taming these romance rumors, she expertly shot down body shamers<\/a> who came after her appearance at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards.<\/p>\n

She addressed online bullies during an Instagram Live, which she filmed with her 9-year-old sister Gracie Elliott Teffey saying,\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m a little bit big right now because I enjoyed myself during the holidays.\u00a0Right?\u201d she asked Teffey as they both laughed it off. \u201cBut we don\u2019t care,\u201d added Gomez.<\/p>\n

Gomez keeps it real time and time again and we love her for
